The legendary Irish folk duo return to Blue Sky after several years away. Definitely one not to miss! Their last performance at Blue Sky was a sell out so early booking is highly advisable.
Described (very accurately!) by Mojo Magazine as a “mix of Irishness, folk and Led Zeppelin”, the sheer level of musicianship has ensured critical acclaim from John Peel. Shifting from tranquil ballads, through traditional folk and powerful guitar melodies their unique brand of progressive folk has a timeless quality which becomes apparent upon listening. Making it an even more exciting time to see the band, they duo are in the process of recording their first new album since the height of their fame in 1973. This legendary duo have gigged with the likes of The Who, ELP and The Velvet Underground to name but a few.
